The eagerly awaited “Housefull 5” is poised to deliver another round of comedy, reuniting Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar for the fifth installment of the beloved franchise. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film’s production is set to commence in late August, starting with a schedule in London, followed by an exciting shoot on a cruise. The main cast features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, and Abhishek Bachchan. Additionally, Fardeen Khan will be joining the ensemble, as reported by Pinkvilla. This film marks a reunion for Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and Sajid Nadiadwala, who previously collaborated on the hit movie “Heyy Babyy.”
A source close to the project disclosed to the publication, “After ‘Heyy Babyy,’ the trio of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and Sajid Nadiadwala is reuniting for ‘Housefull 5.’ It’s a fun role for Fardeen, and he is thrilled to work with Akshay again following their upcoming release, ‘Khel Khel Mein.’ There were several contenders for this role, including Arjun Rampal, but Fardeen Khan has secured it and is set to join the ‘Housefull’ world,” the source continued. Additionally, Fardeen is also co-starring with Akshay Kumar in ‘Khel Khel Mein’ which is all set to release on August 15.
While the male ensemble is complete, the search for the leading ladies is underway. With a comprehensive shooting schedule that is planned from August to November 2024, the filmmakers are targeting to release the film by June 6, 2025.
