A few days ago, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi called Prabhas’ character in Kalki 2898 AD a ‘joker,’ and his comment became quite popular online. Many people from the film industry reacted to this, and now the movie’s director, Nag Ashwin, has shared his thoughts.
Nag Ashwin asked everyone not to pit the north and south film industries against each other or create a Bollywood versus Tollywood divide. He emphasized the importance of unity in the Indian film industry. He also mentioned that Arshad should have been more careful with his words but is sending Bujji, the film’s robot character, toys to Arshad’s kids as a gesture. Nag also promised to work hard on the sequel to make sure Arshad thinks Prabhas did an amazing job.
