Superstar Rajinikanth, 73, was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Monday night after experiencing stomach pain. The actor, known for his iconic roles in Indian cinema, is reported to be in stable condition, according to hospital sources.

Rajinikanth is set to undergo an elective procedure under the care of interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish. The procedure will be conducted in the cardiac cath lab on Tuesday. Fans are anxiously awaiting further updates on the actor’s health.

The news comes just weeks after Rajinikanth’s latest film Jailer became a massive box office hit. He was last seen making a lively appearance at the audio launch of his upcoming movie Vettaiyan, impressing fans with his dance moves.

Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth’s 170th film, is set to release on October 10, and fans are hopeful for the superstar’s speedy recovery.
