The unfortunate incident occurred on October 1 when Govinda accidentally shot himself in the knee while putting away his licensed revolver. Reports suggest that the actor was preparing to head to Kolkata when the firearm misfired, causing a bullet wound. His manager, Shashi Sinha, elaborated on the incident, stating that the revolver slipped from Govinda’s hand and discharged, resulting in the injury. Thankfully, the bullet was successfully removed, and Govinda’s condition is stable.
