The 70th National Film Awards 2024 turned out to be a star-studded affair, with filmmakers Karan Johar and Rishab Shetty stealing the show. Celebrated for their contributions to Indian cinema, both artists were recognized for their outstanding work.
Karan Johar, along with Ayan Mukerji, took home the award for Best Film in the AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic) category. Sharing his joy on Instagram, Johar expressed gratitude, saying, “Every time I step onto this stage, it’s always a different feeling of magic. Thank you to the audience for the bountiful love that you shower.”
Meanwhile, Rishab Shetty made waves, winning the Best Actor award for his stellar performance in Kantara and the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
