The iconic series Fauji, which marked Shah Rukh Khan’s debut in the entertainment industry, is set to make a grand comeback with its second season after more than three decades. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the exciting news on Instagram, featuring a nostalgic video filled with memorable clips from the original series, culminating in the unveiling of a motion poster for Fauji 2.
Produced by Sandeep Singh in collaboration with Doordarshan, Fauji 2 promises a modernized version of the beloved 1989 serial. The series will introduce Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande’s husband, in his acting debut. Jain has previously appeared in reality shows like Bigg Boss 17 and Smart Jodi. The star-studded cast also includes Gauahar Khan, Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, and several others.
In his Instagram post, Taran Adarsh wrote, “SANDEEP SINGH LAUNCHES ‘FAUJI 2′ – THE NEW AVATAR OF SRK’S ICONIC SERIAL… The iconic 1989 serial Fauji – starring Shah Rukh Khan – returns with a fresh new version.”
The soundtrack for Fauji 2 features the melodious voice of Sonu Nigam, who sings the title track, while the show will include eleven songs composed by Shreyas Puranik. Notably, Sharad Kelkar will provide the voiceover for the series.
With Abhinav Pareek at the helm as director, along with Nishant C Shekhar, Fauji 2 is poised to recapture the charm of the original while appealing to a new generation of viewers. Fans can look forward to the series airing on Doordarshan, just like its predecessor. As anticipation builds, Fauji 2 is sure to reignite the nostalgia surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s unforgettable journey in television history.
