According to her, the punctuality and unity among cast and crew set it apart from Hindi cinema. Co-star Rahman added that equality on set, including shared meals and facilities, fostered a positive working environment.
Directed by Najeem Koya, 1000 Babies explores a dark investigation into mass infanticide, with Gupta portraying a unique and challenging role. Initially hesitant, she was deeply moved by the story and ultimately accepted the role after reflecting on its significance.
The series, known for its intense narrative, will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from October 18.
