A new web series centered around the life of infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is reportedly in the works, with the title Lawrence – A Gangster Story. According to sources, Jani Firefox Film Production has secured approval from the Indian Motion Pictures Association for the project, which will explore Bishnoi’s journey into the criminal underworld.

Lawrence Bishnoi has been making headlines recently, following the assassination of politician Baba Siddique and renewed threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Despite being incarcerated since 2014, Bishnoi has continued to run an international criminal network from behind bars, a fact that the web series will reportedly delve into.

Amit Jani, the head of the production house, expressed excitement about the project, stating that the series will be a dramatic and true-to-life depiction of Bishnoi’s life. Jani has previously produced projects like A Tailor Murder Story and Karachi to Noida, both of which are based on real-life events.

Security Tightened Around Salman Khan After Fresh Threats

Meanwhile, security has been increased at Salman Khan’s residence following threats allegedly sent by individuals linked to Lawrence Bishnoi. According to ANI, Mumbai Police received a WhatsApp message demanding ₹5 crore from the actor to resolve his “long-standing rivalry” with Bishnoi. The message warned that if the payment was not made, Khan could face the same fate as Baba Siddique.

This development comes shortly after Siddique’s assassination in Mumbai on October 12. Four people have been arrested in connection with the politician’s murder.

The web series on Lawrence Bishnoi is expected to shed light on his criminal activities and the ongoing tension between him and Salman Khan, making it one of the most anticipated crime dramas in the Indian entertainment space. Fans are eager to see how the series will portray Bishnoi’s rise and the intricacies of his criminal empire.
