In an unexpected turn of events, notorious conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has made a bold move by offering to buy a 50-70% stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Sukesh, currently behind bars in Asia’s largest prison for a Rs 200 crore extortion case, wrote a letter to Johar proposing a ‘no-negotiation’ deal. He claimed that his company, LS Holdings, could help expand Dharma Productions and suggested that the deal could be closed within 48 hours.

Sukesh expressed his deep love for cinema, saying, “For me, movies are not just a business, but a passion and emotion.” He acknowledged the unusual circumstances but assured Johar that “extraordinary things happen from extraordinary situations.”

This offer comes amid another major deal—Serene Entertainment, led by Adar Poonawalla, recently secured 50% of Dharma Productions for a whopping Rs 1000 crore, with Johar continuing as Executive Chairman and Creative Head.

With this bizarre offer, all eyes are now on Karan Johar for his response to Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s audacious proposal.
