In a nostalgic throwback on her Instagram account, legendary actress Zeenat Aman revealed a jaw-dropping detail about how she was signed for Raj Kapoor’s Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Forget traditional signing amounts—Raj Kapoor gifted her a handful of gold guineas instead! Yes, you read that right. The actress, famous for her bold and glamorous roles, recently shared the incredible story with her fans, leaving many in awe.

Zeenat recalled the day she went all out to prove her dedication to the role of Rupa, transforming herself into a village belle complete with tissue-paper scars. Her commitment paid off when Raj Kapoor called his wife, Krishna Kapoor, who showed up with a purse full of gold guineas to seal the deal. Talk about making an entrance! Unfortunately, Zeenat mentioned that the gold was stolen years later, but in true diva fashion, she doesn’t dwell on it. “Given a choice between this memory and the gold, I will always choose the memory,” she wrote in her post, proving that memories are truly priceless.
