In a surprising turn of events, the upcoming installment of the blockbuster franchise Dhoom has stirred up quite a controversy. Akshay Kumar, who has reportedly taken a significant role in the production decisions, has decided to drop Abhishek Bachchan from the cast. This unexpected move has left fans and industry insiders buzzing.

Abhishek Bachchan, who has been a staple in the Dhoom series since its inception, will no longer be reprising his role as ACP Jai Dixit. Instead, the spotlight will shift to none other than Shah Rukh Khan, who is set to take on the role of the villain. This casting choice has sparked intense discussions, given Shah Rukh Khan’s massive star power and his previous successful portrayals of antagonistic characters.

Sources close to the production reveal that Akshay Kumar’s decision was driven by a desire to bring a fresh dynamic to the franchise. “Akshay wanted to infuse new energy and excitement into Dhoom 4. While Abhishek has done a fantastic job in the past, the team felt it was time for a change,” said an insider.

Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement is already generating immense anticipation. Known for his versatility and charisma, Khan is expected to bring a new level of intensity and intrigue to the film. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see how he will redefine the villain’s role in the high- octane action series.

As for Abhishek Bachchan, there has been no official statement from him regarding the decision. However, industry pundits speculate that he may address the controversy in the coming days.
