Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2024 continued to dazzle on Day 3, with Bhumi Pednekar taking center stage as the showstopper for designer Richa Khemka. The Badhaai Do actress made heads turn as she graced the runway in a stunning black gown, paired with sleek black heels. The gown, featuring a plunging neckline and a chic halter-neck design, exuded both elegance and allure, capturing the audience’s attention.
Bhumi’s striking look added to the glamour of the day, as she effortlessly owned the ramp with her signature poise and style.
On Day 2 of the fashion extravaganza, actresses Shefali Shah and Fatima Sana Shaikh also took to the runway, making bold fashion statements. Shefali walked for David Abraham, Rakesh Thakore, and Kevin Nigli, while Fatima turned showstopper for New York Institute of Fashion (NIF) students, Chetan Mali and Mahendra Choudhary.
Fatima, reflecting on her experience, shared her admiration for the young designers. “It was very endearing to see all the designers. I love that it’s their first show; they were quite nervous, like leaves shaking in the wind. It was lovely to walk for them,” she said with a smile, adding, “The future is bright, and it’s wonderful to see young designers expressing their unique voices.”
When asked about her personal style, Fatima revealed, “I usually prefer wearing sarees and don’t follow trends too closely. By the time I hear about a trend, it’s already passed,” she joked.
