The announcement was accompanied by a teaser that featured flashbacks of Suniel Shetty’s iconic role, with a voiceover by Ahan, marking the symbolic passing of the baton between father and son.
Ahan Shetty took to Instagram to express his gratitude, stating, “Border is more than a film–it’s a legacy, an emotion… My journey with Border started 29 years ago when mom visited dad on set while pregnant with me.” The young actor acknowledged how his childhood memories shaped his love for cinema and his admiration for the Indian Armed Forces.
