Actor Allu Arjun, deeply affected by the incident, has expressed his sorrow and announced personal support for the victim’s family.

Allu Arjun’s Response

Taking to social media platform X, Allu Arjun shared his condolences and a heartfelt promise to assist the grieving family. He wrote:

“Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey.”

In a generous gesture, he announced a donation of ₹25 lakh to the family and pledged to cover all medical expenses. “It’s just a goodwill gesture to secure their future,” he added.

The tragic stampede occurred when large crowds gathered to see Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna at the premiere of the much-awaited Pushpa 2. Amid the chaos, Revathi tragically lost her life, and her young son sustained injuries.

Police Investigation

Following the incident, Revathi’s family lodged a complaint at Chikkadapally Police Station. Authorities have registered a case under Sections 105 and 118(1) read with 3(5) of the BNS Act. Deputy Commissioner of Police Akshansh Yadav revealed that the investigation targets the theatre management, Allu Arjun, and his security team.
