In a thrilling announcement that has fans buzzing, the Indian adaptation of The Night Manager has secured a nomination in the Drama Series category at the 2024 International Emmy Awards! Starring the charismatic Anil Kapoor, the dashing Aditya Roy Kapur, and the talented Sobhita Dhulipala, this adaptation is the only Indian entry across all 14 categories, marking a significant achievement for Indian television.

The series will face off against formidable international contenders, including Les Gouttes de Dieu from France, The Newsreader – Season 2 from Australia, and Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido – Season 2 from Argentina.

Anil Kapoor, who brilliantly portrayed the complex antagonist Shelly Rungta, shared his excitement, stating, “It’s just been brought to my attention that our Indian adaptation of The Night Manager has been nominated for an International Emmy. When the offer came in, I felt a mix of excitement and responsibility to bring something fresh to a character so masterfully played by Hugh Laurie.”
