Mihir Ahuja’s Story of Grit, Passion, and a Debut Against All Odds.

Some careers are built on auditions. Others, on luck. But Mihir Ahuja’s journey into the limelight began with pain, perseverance, and unshakable passion—all wrapped in a cast he refused to wear.

Before becoming a breakout star in Netflix’s The Archies, Mihir made his professional debut alongside none other than Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli. It wasn’t just a big break—it was the kind of opportunity every aspiring actor dreams of. But for Mihir, the dream almost ended before it began.

Just a day before the shoot, Mihir was hit by a motorbike while crossing the road near his gym. The accident left him with a fractured right hand—his dominant hand. Doctors urged him to rest, to plaster the injury, and postpone everything. But Mihir wasn’t willing to let a broken bone break his shot.

“My first job was an ad with Virat Kohli. A bike hit me, and I fractured my right hand. The shoot was the next day. I was in tears, not from pain—but because I thought I’d miss it,” Mihir revealed in an emotional interview with Filmfare.

As his family and friends processed the shock, Mihir made a bold request to his doctor: no plaster, just painkillers. He was injected, bandaged, and warned to return for proper treatment the moment the shoot was done.

And so, he showed up. In pain, but present. In fear, but fully committed.

That shoot marked the beginning of Mihir’s acting career. What could’ve been a moment lost to injury became a testament to his dedication—one that continues to define his work ethic even today.

In The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, Mihir starred as Jughead Jones, bringing a blend of charm and quirk to the iconic comic book character. The film, set in the 1960s town of Riverdale, follows a group of friends who fight to save their beloved Green Park from being turned into a hotel. It’s a story about courage and community—and in many ways, Mihir lived that spirit before ever stepping on set.

Now rising through the ranks in the industry, Mihir was recently seen in Pyar Paisa Profit and is part of the upcoming Indo-Australian film Hindi Vindi. But no matter where his career goes from here, that first job remains a defining moment.

Mihir Ahuja didn’t just show up for his dream—he limped, bled, and fought for it.

In a world where people wait for the right moment, Mihir made his own—even with a broken hand.
