Malayali rapper Hanumankind is making waves in the global music scene, and his next stop is Coachella 2025. Known for his viral hit Big Dawgs, Hanumankind has been confirmed as part of the festival’s stellar lineup, marking him as only the third Indian artist to perform at the iconic event after Punjabi music sensations Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon in 2024.

Coachella 2025, set to take place in Indio, California, will feature an electrifying roster of headliners, including Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. The festival, scheduled for two weekends in April—11-13 and 18-20—has reserved a Saturday slot for Hanumankind, although the exact date remains under wraps.

For Hanumankind, whose rise to fame was catapulted by the success of Big Dawgs earlier this year, performing at Coachella is a monumental achievement. His inclusion in the festival lineup cements his position as a global artist who is pushing boundaries for Indian music on the world stage.

Coachella 2025: A Star-Studded Affair

This year’s festival boasts a diverse lineup that balances contemporary chart-toppers with music legends. Apart from Hanumankind, audiences can look forward to electrifying performances by Travis Scott, Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, and Megan Thee Stallion. Music fans will also witness a special collaboration between famed conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic, alongside sets by Brazil’s Anitta and electronic pioneers Kraftwerk.

South Africa’s Tyla, who had to pull out last year due to injury, is also set to perform, marking a return eagerly anticipated by fans.

From Diljit to Hanumankind: Indian Artists at Coachella

Last year, Diljit Dosanjh made history as the first Indian artist to perform at Coachella, followed by AP Dhillon, who brought Punjabi music to the international stage. Hanumankind’s addition to this growing legacy highlights the increasing global recognition of Indian music, transcending genres and geographies.

As Indian fans gear up for Hanumankind’s performance, the excitement surrounding his inclusion signals a promising future for Indian artists on global platforms. Coachella 2025 isn’t just a festival—it’s a testament to how the Indian music scene is resonating across the globe.
