The Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Kapoor, and Karisma Kapoor, have traveled to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in celebration of 100 years of the legendary Raj Kapoor. The family was spotted at the private airport in Kalina, all dressed in traditional attire as they boarded their flight.

In honor of this monumental occasion, several of Raj Kapoor’s iconic films are being re-released in cinemas, and Ranbir Kapoor has played a significant role in restoring his grandfather’s films through collaborations with the NFDC, NFAI, and the Film Heritage Foundation. During a recent event at IFFI Goa, Ranbir expressed hope that audiences would explore Raj Kapoor’s extensive body of work.

To mark this special milestone, the Kapoor family’s visit to PM Modi is part of their efforts to commemorate Raj Kapoor’s contributions to Indian cinema. A festival from December 13 to December 15 will showcase his timeless films.

The Kapoor family turned heads with their stunning ethnic attire at the airport. Neetu and Karisma coordinated in ivory anarkalis, while Kareena dazzled in a red kurta set with floral prints. Saif Ali Khan looked suave in a kurta pyjama paired with a waistcoat. Ranbir and Alia, both radiant, matched perfectly—Ranbir in a bandhgala and Alia in a red saree.

Ranbir also shared his thoughts on the importance of remembering the roots of Indian cinema, citing an anecdote about Alia Bhatt’s curiosity about Kishore Kumar, reflecting the changing dynamics of the film industry across generations.
