In a bizarre turn of events, lyricist Sohail Pasha has been arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly sending threatening messages to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Pasha, who claimed to be the writer of the song Main Sikander Hoon, demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore, hoping to boost his track’s popularity in the process.

The threats were sent through a WhatsApp number traced back to Pasha, sparking alarm when multiple warnings were sent to the Mumbai Traffic Control Room. The police investigation led to the discovery of a mobile phone linked to one Venkatesh Narayan, whose phone was temporarily used by Pasha to send the ransom messages.

In an unexpected twist, Pasha confessed that his ultimate goal was not financial gain, but the viral success of his song. “I wanted my song to go viral, and I thought this would make it famous,” he reportedly told the authorities.
