With only Rs 700 in his wallet, Munawar described how he stayed composed in front of the doctor, saying, “I smiled casually, assuring him I’d arrange the money. But as I walked out, I froze for nearly 40 minutes. It was the heaviest moment of my life.”

Determined to save his son, Munawar made ten frantic calls seeking financial help. Eventually, a former workplace agreed to lend him the money. Traveling to Mumbai Central to collect the funds, he returned within three hours. Despite the relief of securing the treatment, Munawar recalled, “I couldn’t smile because it wasn’t my money.”
