It seems drama isn’t just limited to Pushpa 2: The Rule! Composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), known for his chart-topping beats, has taken center stage with his witty jabs at the film’s producers. At the Chennai launch of the latest track Kissik, DSP didn’t hold back, addressing the whispers about delays and replacements in true blockbuster style.

The Love-Hate Symphony

Addressing producer Ravi Shankar directly, DSP quipped, “Ravi sir, I know you love me, but where there’s love, there’s complaints too. Only, I think you have more complaints than love!” Now, that’s a mic drop moment if we’ve ever heard one!

He didn’t stop there. The musician poked fun at being labeled “late” despite arriving early, admitting he took a moment to “make an entry for the cameras.” DSP joked, “As soon as I arrived, you said, ‘Wrong timing, sir. You’re late!’ What can I do? Without drama, where’s the kick?”

Thaman vs. DSP?

Rumors had swirled earlier that DSP was being replaced by Thaman for Pushpa 2’s background score due to delays. While DSP is still crafting songs for the film (including the trending Kissik), it’s said that Thaman and a team of composers are handling the score.

Fans, of course, have been quick to pick sides, with many dubbing this “the ultimate musical face-off” in Tollywood. One fan cheekily commented online, “With DSP and Thaman both involved, Pushpa 2’s music will be a mass masala! Who needs drama in the script?”

Kissik-ing It Out of the Park

Despite the backstage tension, DSP’s latest track Kissik has already become a raging hit. With Allu Arjun and Sreeleela’s killer moves paired with DSP’s signature beats, the song is pure dynamite. Social media is flooded with dance reels, and fans can’t get enough of the electrifying vibes.

What’s Next in This Musical Saga?

While the feud adds extra spice to the Pushpa 2 hype, one thing’s clear—Devi Sri Prasad knows how to keep the drama alive, both on and off stage. With Pushpa 2 gearing up for release, fans are waiting to see if DSP and Ravi Shankar will finally strike the right chord.

One thing’s for sure: if Pushpa 2’s music has even half the sass of DSP’s recent comments, we’re in for a treat! 🎵
