“This person was obsessed with me and my life. They used personal facts and fabricated stories on platforms like Reddit and Instagram. The creepy part was that their details were always right—down to who I was meeting and when—even though I didn’t share this online,” Sahiba shared.
Legal Action Taken Against the Stalker
The actress explained how she sought help from a lawyer friend and took immediate steps to address the issue.
“I wrote two complaints—one to the police and another to the cyber cell. The cyber cell gave a warning to the stalker over a call. Later, my lawyer issued a restraining order through mail, warning them of either a hefty fine or police action if they continued,” Sahiba said.
The actress encouraged others to reach out to the women’s cell or pro-bono legal services when faced with similar issues, emphasizing the importance of taking action.
