In a shocking development, television actor Abhinav Shukla has reportedly received death threats from a person claiming affiliation with the Bishnoi gang. The threats come shortly after a heated controversy involving his wife, actress Rubina Dilaik, and reality show co-judge Asim Riaz.
According to reports, tensions flared during the shooting of the reality web show Battleground, where Rubina Dilaik and Asim Riaz allegedly had a major argument. Following this, Asim was reportedly removed from the show. Abhinav Shukla came out in support of his wife, criticizing the behavior directed at her.
Soon after, Abhinav posted a screen recording on his X (formerly Twitter) account, showing abusive messages and threats sent by an Instagram user claiming to be linked to the Bishnoi gang. The threat warned of violent action similar to the attack on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence.
Tagging the Punjab Police and Chandigarh Police, Abhinav urged authorities to take immediate action. He wrote:
“DEATH THREATS to my family! Please act firmly & promptly. To anyone who recognizes the person, please report.”
Rubina Dilaik, reacting strongly to the threats, stated:
“My silence is not my weakness. Don’t test my patience.”
Additionally, Rubina shared screenshots of abusive comments made by Asim Riaz’s alleged supporters, who targeted her and Abhinav on social media.
For those unaware, the Bishnoi gang has been in the spotlight recently for making threats against high-profile Bollywood personalities. The incident has raised fresh concerns over celebrity safety in the entertainment industry.
