The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna, continues to make waves as it gets declared tax-free in Haryana, following similar announcements in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The film, based on the tragic 2002 Godhra train burning incident, has become a hot topic in both political and entertainment circles.

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, accompanied by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, watched the film with his cabinet on Tuesday. The CM praised the film’s courage in portraying such a sensitive topic and urged the public to see it. Producer Ektaa Kapoor was also present at the screening, adding her voice to the growing accolades for the movie.

Drawing comparisons to The Kashmir Files, Saini emphasized the film’s accuracy in narrating the Godhra tragedy, which resulted in 59 deaths and sparked widespread riots. The political endorsements didn’t stop there—Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier tweeted about the movie, calling it a commendable effort to bring out the truth and counter fake narratives.

The film’s tax-free status is expected to increase its reach among audiences, especially with strong word-of-mouth driving more footfalls. Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra’s powerful performances have also been pivotal in making the film a must-watch.

With a compelling storyline, stellar cast, and mounting recognition, The Sabarmati Report is not just a film—it’s a conversation starter that’s capturing the nation’s attention.
