The Don franchise is back in the headlines, and this time it’s official—Sharvari Wagh has reportedly been roped in to play the female lead opposite Ranveer Singh in the much-anticipated Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment.

After earlier buzz and speculation, Filmfare was the first to break the news of Sharvari’s possible involvement following Kiara Advani’s exit from the film due to her pregnancy. Now, with sources doubling down on the confirmation, it looks like Sharvari has truly signed the dotted line.

🎬 A New Era for Don

The Don franchise has seen several exciting reinventions—from Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 original to Shah Rukh Khan’s sleek 2006 and 2011 reboots. Now, Ranveer Singh is all set to take the legacy forward, with Sharvari stepping in as the fresh face of the iconic female lead.

According to insiders close to the production:

“The team at Excel Entertainment is thrilled to have Sharvari on board. She brings a fresh energy and screen presence, and this film gives her the space to showcase her action chops on a massive scale.”

Shooting is expected to commence between August and December 2025, with both leads undergoing intense prep for the action-packed film.

🥊 From Alpha to Don 3: Sharvari’s Action-Packed Journey

Sharvari is currently making headlines for her upcoming film Alpha, co-starring Alia Bhatt, slated for a Christmas 2025 release. In an earlier interview, Sharvari opened up about her love for the action genre:

“I love action as a genre and I binge-watch action movies with my sister! When I was offered Alpha, I jumped. I’ve always wanted to do action as an actor—so I’m living my dream.”

On sharing the screen with Alia, she said:

“My biggest takeaway is learning from Alia. She’s not just an incredible actor but also an amazing human being.”

With Alpha and Don 3 both in her lineup, 2025 looks like Sharvari’s breakout year.

💥 What to Expect From Don 3?

While plot details remain under wraps, Don 3 promises to push the franchise into a new chapter with Ranveer’s bold take on the anti-hero and Sharvari as his formidable counterpart. Known for slick storytelling, big-scale action, and unforgettable music, the Don films have always been cinematic events—and this one is shaping up to be no different.
