Power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are reportedly planning to settle in London, seeking a quieter and more private life for their growing family. The decision comes after the birth of their second child, Akaay, in February 2024. The couple already has a daughter, Vamika, born in 2021.

The move has been confirmed by close family friends and associates. Dr. Sriram Nene, husband of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, shared in a recent interview that Anushka and Virat want to raise their children away from constant media attention. “They just want to raise their kids normally,” Dr. Nene said, adding that the couple finds it hard to enjoy their success under the spotlight in India.

Virat’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma also confirmed the news, stating that the family is expected to shift to London soon. While the couple hasn’t made an official statement yet, their frequent visits to the UK over the past year had already sparked speculation.

Known for fiercely guarding their family’s privacy, especially after the birth of Vamika, Virat and Anushka’s decision reflects their long-standing desire to give their children a more grounded upbringing. Fans may be surprised, but many have expressed support and understanding on social media.

As one of India’s most-followed celebrity couples, their move marks a major shift—not just personally, but possibly in terms of their public presence and future career choices.
